Organisation: Background music

In a previous blog post, I spoke about the song from 'Nightmare on Elm Street' that goes "1 2 Freddies coming for you", I am going to use a similar song for my own film trailer but with the words "1, 2, 3, Logans coming for you."

Logan is obviously the name of my main character and the serial killer of my film trailer so these words would work perfectly. This would also give a good contextual reference to another film that is a horror film so you can see where I drew my influence from for my film trailer.

My little cousin Ellie is going to voice the song for my film trailer so as she is younger, I am going to ask my aunty permission for Ellie's voice to be apart of my film trailer.

Research into similar products: Background Music

I have been looking at creepy music styles that could be used for my film trailer throughout it all. To do this I need something that would fit my trailer perfectly as it is a serial killer horror film. I have been looking at the song from 'Nightmare on Elm street' that is "1, 2, Freddy's coming for you." Due to the voice of the song being childish it makes the song sound more creepy. My story involves a younger sibling so this song could be really good for my trailer.

This is scene 6.

This is the climax of the film trailer as it is after the titles have appeared. It is the clock ticking down and it being turned off. Then the screen goes black. Signalling a death has happened as the alarm clock is a strong motif in the play. There is no stings or background noises as the only sound you have to hear is the alarm clock ringing. The camera focuses on the clock and all you see is a finger turning the clock off and it goes into silence.

Location #4 – Alleyway

Ben is walking down the alleyway on his phone, calling someone. He keeps looking behind him. No one is there.

Ben looks behind him again. There's no one there. Ben carries on walking. Over the shoulder shot of Logan behind him and then a POV shot of Logan following Ben.

This is scene 5. This is the script of Location 5 and the filming.

Location #5 – Lickey Hills

The camera is following Charlie and Caitlyn running through the woods.

Caitlyn: Quick! Come on Charlie! Run!

Logan: You can't run from me!

Charlie: Quick! He's coming!

Charlie trips up over a log. He turns to face Luke and sees him getting closer. Charlie tries to move backwards away from him

Caitlyn: Come on! Get up!

Caitlyn tries to help Charlie up but he keeps falling over.

Charlie: Just go on without me!

Caitlyn: No! I cant leave without you!

Charlie: Just go! He's coming!

Logan: (Loud, Calm voice) I've got you now!

Caitlyn runs off. POV of Logan looking down at Charlie. Quick shot that shows Charlie's watch at 12. Then a shot behind Logan as he raises his knife that he is carrying to him. Screen goes black and a voice over of Charlie screaming.

Organisation: Filming Dates

I am planning to film scene 4 of my film trailer on Tuesday 13th February after school. This is the scene filmed in an alleyway where Logan is stalking Ben and he phones one of the gang members to call a meeting. In this scene, there is two characters Ben and Luke who plays the main character Logan. 

However the weather says it has plans to rain. Hopefully it doesn't rain but if it does it could give my trailer a more gloomy and dark atmosphere to it.
